Among the two blamed is Pintu Sharma who is supposed to be Uttarakhand BJP president Madan Kaushik’s media in-control.

Haridwar: Two people, including a man said to be Uttarakhand BJP president Madan Kaushik’s media in-control or PRO, have been reserved here for tricking a previous gram pradhan of lakhs of rupees in the wake of promising to give occupations to his child and nephew, police said on Wednesday.

As per the FIR held up for the situation at Bhagwanpur police headquarters here, Sanjeev Sharma and Pintu Sharma, who is supposed to be Mr Kaushik’s media in-control, took ₹ 7 lakh (4.5 lakh in real money and 2.5 lakh through bank store) from previous gram pradhan of Sartheri town Dharmapal Singh promising to give occupations to his child and nephew.

At the point when the previous gram pradhan’s child and nephew didn’t land the positions, Singh requested that the two blamed return his cash yet they didn’t.

A sum of 646 panchayat and metropolitan partnership opportunities had been publicized last year and Sanjeev Sharma and Pintu Sharma had guaranteed Mr Singh that his child and nephew will be chosen.

The FIR was held up based on an objection documented by Singh against the two under Indian Penal Code segments 420 (cheating), 406 (criminal break of trust) and 120 b (criminal intrigue), police said.

Sanjeev Sharma has been captured while Pintu Sharma is on the run, they said.

Madan Kaushik’s office has rejected that Pintu Sharma was the BJP pioneer’s PRO. In any case, he is supposed to be the BJP pioneer’s PRO in the FIR.
